The village of Baltimore is situated in the heart of West Cork, one of Irelands top holiday locations. It provides great access to all principal sightseeing areas.
Situated in the very south west corner of ireland Baltimore is a small coastal village nestled into the hillside and facing out onto one of the most spectacular harbours in the country. It is 12 km from the town of Skibbereen and approximately 1.5 hours from Cork airport.
It has numerous local amenities including award winning bars and restaurants many of which specalise in locally caught seafood.
The village has a variety of accomodation to suit all budgets, including hostels, B+Bs, self-catering and hotels.
As well as sailing the is a wide choice of options available to visitors to Baltimore including; kayaking, angling, diving and whale and dolphin watching. It is also only a short trip to Lough Ine nature reserve the largest saltwater lake in Europe.
