Our Boat, "Rumble Fish", is a Beneteau First 40. This boat is the newest and most exciting addition to the Beneteau’s Cruiser/Racer fleet and is part of a new generation of boats designed for cruising but easily adaptable for racing. For comfort and ease of use the boat offers a number of features to make the experience very enjoyable.

The interior of the boat is bright, spacious and very comfortable with a relaxed layout that provides ample room for the crew. She is a three-cabined vessel with numerous facilities including; toilet and shower; L-shaped galley with cooker, twin sink and fridge, a stern bathing shower is also available.
The boat is fully equipped with navigation equipment, charts, almanacs and instruction books.
For comfort and ease of use the First 40 also features a number of other items to make your sailing experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Furling Genoa Headsail – this is a roll in roll out sail, which takes all of the effort out of hoisting large sails. Extends and folds away by simply pulling on a line. |

Two way electric anchor windlass. No more manually hauling the anchor up from the seabed! Anchor raised by the touch of a button! |

Wide Spray hood for all weather conditions. Helps to keep the elements off on those not so good days! |

Our Boat is fitted out with a full cruising wardrobe from North Sails. Using 3DL technology these are the world’s most advanced cruising sails.
They are light but extremely strong sails, which can be used for both cruising and racing.
The boat also comes with a spinnaker; a fast efficient downwind sail that is both extremely stable and easy to use.
Safety is important to us at Sail Baltimore and for this reason “Rumble Fish” is fitted out with all of the latest safety equipment for our sailing lessons and sailing trips, including:
